At Rethink Laser Tattoo Removal, we keep things transparent and straightforward — and that extends to how we run our clinic. These policies are in place to protect your time, our team’s time, and the fairness of every client who books with us.

Appointments
Please arrive on time — or a couple of minutes early if possible. Your treatment slot is reserved exclusively for you, and arriving late can cut into your session time. Out of respect for clients booked after you, we’re unable to extend sessions for late arrivals.
We completely understand that life happens. If you’re running late, please call us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
As a small, independently owned Australian business, your consideration of our cancellation policy means a great deal to us. A missed appointment can’t be filled at short notice — and that affects our ability to keep treatments affordable for everyone.
Please notify us by text or email by 5pm the day before your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule.
You’ll receive an automatic reminder email 48 hours before your appointment, and a text reminder 24 hours prior.
If you cancel after 5pm the day before, or do not attend without notice, one of the following will apply:
- Your deposit will be forfeited
- A $50 missed appointment fee will be invoiced (larger appointments $80/$100)
- A treatment will be deducted from your pre-paid package
- A deposit will be required for all future bookings
We appreciate your understanding — it helps us keep the clinic running smoothly for everyone.
Pre-Paid Treatment Packages
Pre-paying for a course of treatments gives you a saving in line with our current pre-payment schedule.
Please note:
- Pre-paid packages are non-refundable
- They are not transferable to another person
- They have a 3 year expiry date from the date of purchase
- Cancellations for pre-paid sessions must be made by 5pm the day before
- Failure to attend a pre-paid session without adequate notice will result in that treatment being forfeited
By purchasing a pre-paid package you are agreeing to these terms. For more information on your consumer rights, visit the ACCC website or the Queensland Office of Fair Trading.
Radiation Safety & Licensing
All laser treatments at Rethink are performed by a Queensland Government licensed laser operator. Our clinic holds a current Radiation Safety Licence issued by Queensland Health, in compliance with the Radiation Safety Act 1999 (Qld). Referral Discount
We love referrals — they’re the best compliment you can give us!
If you refer a friend or family member and they book and attend their first appointment, you’ll receive $20 off your next treatment. Just let us know at your next visit.
Privacy
Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of providing treatment and communicating with you about your appointments. We handle your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. We will never sell or share your information with third parties.
